Founded in 1945 by Nino Ramishvili and Iliko Sukhishvili, the ensemble has become a symbol of Georgian cultural heritage and has conquered the international stage with its virtuosity and talent.

CHOREOGRAPHY AND MASTERY

Sukhishvili’s dances are renowned for their synchronization, virtuosic acrobatics, and extraordinary leaps. The men perform the famous dance on the tips of their boots, combining strength and grace. The women embody lightness and elegance, turning every movement into a work of art.

COSTUMES AND MUSIC

The costumes, designed by Simon Virsaladze and Nino Ramishvili, amaze with their luxury and attention to detail. The collection includes over 150 pieces, featuring rare examples from the 1960s.

The Sukhishvili orchestra performs original music on traditional Georgian instruments such as the changi, duduk, and panduri, preserving the authenticity of the culture while adding emotional depth to each performance.

The Sukhishvili Ballet has set records on stages such as La Scala in Milan and Broadway, earning rave reviews. Today, the troupe gives around 300 performances annually, captivating audiences with its energy and artistry.
